Woman Accused In Penis Attack May Have Poisoned Husband

Catherine Kieu Becker, 48, who faces sentencing regarding allegations of inflicting bodily harm, is currently being charged with torture and aggravated mayhem. Becker has been held without bail since her arrest on July 11th. Allegedly, she chopped off her husband’s penis after the two argued about having friends over.
Becker made her first court appearance on July 13th, but she did not enter a plea. An Orange County Superior Court judge rescheduled Friday’s arraignment to Sept. 23. If convicted on all counts, she faces a maximum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Her husband informed the police, that after his wife served him dinner, he didn’t feel well and went to bed around 9 p.m. on July 11th. Officials believe he might have been suffering the effects of the poisoned tofu soup. When he awoke, his legs and arms were tied to the corners of the bed. His wife then pulled off his pants, grabbed his penis and severed it with a knife. She then tossed the penis in the garbage disposal, turning it on and mutilating it.
