“Living in New England, exercising outside during the Fall is one of my favorite things to do. I don’t love the rolling hills but I do love the smell and beautiful colors of the falling leaves. I’ve been running and biking for more than twenty years. For me, this time is a moving meditation “session” that I cherish. It is the time I think about myself, my family and my community. You may find me with a huge smile on my face or tears rolling down my face….I don’t know what type of session I will have until I’m there. One of the best “sessions” I had was when my daughter, who was five at the time, decided to join me for a run. As we were rounding the corner, she looked back at me and the falling red and yellow leaves framed her face.”
“It is the best memory I have running outside.”
